Of course, we had already perfected the fine art of "Social Distancing", it's literally what we DO!
We have the skills and tools to keep our inn and food pristine clean and safe.
So if cabin fever is making you crazy, come and watch movies, play board games, walk downtown, picnic on the patio, drink cocktails....enjoy some time away here with us.
Life isn't what it used to be, so we are paying special attention to the cleanliness and sanitation of our inn. Here are a few extra precautions we are taking:
All rooms and suites will be sanitized thoroughly to ensure optimum safety. We employ hot steam vapor technology from Advanced Vapor Technology in our cleaning procedures, allowing us to optimize the sanitation of ALL surfaces. The TANCS system in our steam machine is second to none for the elimination of harmful viruses (including COVID 19) and is chemical-free. Extra care and attention are being taken for the safety of our guests.
In order to support optimum "social distancing" and "best practices" protection, we offer all guests the ability to Self Check-in and Self Check-out if it makes them feel more comfortable. We would love to greet you personally and introduce you to our inn and all our amenities, but we also understand if guests would rather keep their distance. We will be greeting all with a friendly smile instead of handshakes and hugs. As we live on-site, we are available by text or phone anytime to meet all your needs.
After check-in, help yourself to snacks and beverages in the parlor and dining room and settle in.
We encourage everyone to respect "social distancing" Smiles are always appreciated.
Hand sanitizer will be available all around and we encourage you to bring and use your own. Extraordinary sanitizing of public areas will be our priority as well.
You are welcome to bring meals back to the inn and enjoy clean open space on the front porch, the back porch, or the inn's main dining room. Please do not dine with takeout food in guest rooms and kindly dispose of all dining refuse in the provided trash and recycle bins.
Our rates include signature coffee/tea and scone service at a time of your choosing between 7:00 and 9:30 AM, but the coffee stays hot and available all morning.
Our a la carte menu will be served daily from the inn kitchen for pick up, dining room, or patio service, beginning at 7:30 AM and continuing until 9:30 AM. This convenient menu includes a wide variety of healthy options. See the menu here W2ND Historic Inn A La Carte Menu
While facemasks are not currently mandatory, if guests are more comfortable wearing masks and would like to see us in masks, we are certainly good with that.
For our guests safety and comfort, after check-in we will not enter your room, guest rooms will only be cleaned at check-out. If you need extra towels or personal amenities you need only text us and we will deliver them. If you have an unusual accident (spill something, etc) that requires cleaning, of course, contact us.
